Comment
This is a truly fantastic hotel. It's decorated in a similar style to the Teatro della Scala and it's situated approximately 5 minutes away from the Repubblica metro/tram station and 10 minutes from the Stazione Centrale on foot. The rooms are large and very comfortable and the staff are only too willing to help. An excellent choice for a couple on a city break. In the evenings, head to Corso Como to eat. It's a 2-minute walk from the hotel - the concierge will give you a map and point you in the right direction. It's a great little street where the (very well dressed) locals go and it comes alive at night
Top Tip
Take a train from Stazione Centrale to Como and visit Lake Como - definitely a must.
If you like shopping, pop into 10 Corso Como during the day for some designer retail therapy.
Don't miss the Duomo and the San Siro stadium.
If you're planning to see Da Vinci's Last Supper, book online before you go because tickets are now selling out months in advance, thanks to Dan Brown.
